Change Management is defined as the management of change and development within a business or similar organization. The Prosci ADKAR® ModelADKAR is an acronym that represents the five tangible and concrete outcomes that people need to achieve for lasting change: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement. definition of change management: the process, tools and techniques to manage the people side of change to achieve a required business outcome.

Change Management can also be viewed as being the process, tools and techniques to manage the people side of change in order to achieve the desired, and or required business outcome(s). It incorporates the organizational tools that can be utilized to help individuals make successful personal transitions resulting in the adoption and realization of change.
